Nice old fashioned hotel. Very clean room and bathroom. Good service! Only small problems are less car parking area and a soft mattress.

Nice clean comfortable hotel. Would definitely stay again as they have family rooms with 2 bedrooms. Staff friendly and easy to get to things. Would recommend Manaka for dining/cafes/shops

Location in a lovely garden setting was perfect and parking out front of the hotel was easy and convenient. Very quiet at night.
Room (Superior King) was large, well set out and had lots of windows. Bed was extremely comfortable. Only negative was that a queen sized doona was on the king bed, which left it a bit on the small side. Bedding and pillows were all excellent of good quality. Staff were friendly,although when we asked for the doona to be replaced with a larger one, we were told upon returning to the hotel later that it had been done. It had not.
The main downside of this well-kept and attractive hotel is that there is no food or bar facilities, although they provide links to nearby cafes and other eateries. About 10 to 15 minutes walk takes you to to the main restaurant area of Manuka.

We enjoyed our stay at the Brassey Hotel. The room was nicely appointed and very comfortable me. The bathroom has no heating ( but this is quite common in Australia ). We found a great coffee shop (Eighty/Twenty) nearby for breakfast. Good parking. Within walking distance of the Old Parliament Building. Good value and would highly recommend.

Great location, gym, and staff. Rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds. They have poor lighting and the bathrooms need work. I wouldn't pay over $200 a night.

Great value and location. Our family of 4 adults were very comfortable in the family room (actually 2 rooms and a bathroom) and loved the old warm charm of the Brassey. The complimentary drink and hot chocolate was very much appreciated. Would not hesitate to book again.
